FAIRVIEW

Race 1
Race Summary: ARCTIC ADVANCE is improving and chased home a useful sort last time. He should be right there at the finish. CASHING IN showed good improvement last time around. He actually finished ahead of ARCTIC ADVANCE when they met earlier this season. Who has made the most improvement since that outing is open to question. MARSH MARIGOLD and SENHOR DUKE need to do more to win but could pop up in the places.

Selections:
#6 Wind Sock, #1 Arctic Advance, #2 Cashing In, #7 Rose Of Bayeux

Race 2
Race Summary: A competitive looking race. FIORENZA has some fair form and could like this longer distance. FLOWER SELLER stepped up on her debut with a pleasing effort last time. With further improvement expected she should fight out the finish. Stable companion GIGGLE AND A TALK disappointed on her local debut. She is clearly better than that run would suggest and is back on the turf. TWICE TO HEAVEN chased home a fair sort last time out which was over this course and distance so could be the one to beat.

Selections:
#12 Twice To Heaven, #8 Flower Seller, #9 Giggle And A Talk, #5 Curly Top

Race 3
Race Summary: Another competitive race and it might pay to go wide in the exotics. DIAMONDS AND TOADS was backed to win her local debut and although well beaten she did manage to place. She should be fitter this time. The same could also be said of LUCY BELLE who may also have just needed her last run and should improve. RESPECTABLE MISS makes her local debut and does have a winning chance. EAST COAST STAR tends to lack a strong finish but could play a minor role.

Selections:
#9 Meeneera, #3 Respectable Miss, #6 Pin It, #5 Double Digit

Race 4
Race Summary: A tough race to find the winner. JASPERO has been holding form but has yet to finish off the race well enough to win. Will this race be the day? TJOKLIT seems to do too much too soon and a change of tactics if at all possible might help get him home first. CHICAGO WEST has been a bit unreliable but does have a winning chance. KING OF THE MOMENT may have needed his last run (first after gelding) and could bounce back to form.

Selections:
#5 Bravestarr, #4 Chicago West, #3 Jaspero, #1 Tjoklit

Race 5
Race Summary: Another tough race. FROSTY RAIN is clearly better than the last run and must be considered. ALASKAN FATE has hit a purple patch of late and could well pull off a hat-trick of wins. IN LIMBO was a bit disappointing last time out. She makes her local debut and deserves respect, especially if the money comes for her. LINDA LOVES LACE is currently a reserve runner but could pop up in the places if she gets in the race.

Selections:
#14 Badrah, #2 Alaskan Fate, #13 Miss Caruso, #3 Mistress Of Means

Race 6
Race Summary: A low-grade handicap that should see a competitive finish. MIO GRANDE and ZIG ZAG both have a winning chance. HOMER FIDGET is in good form and can contest the finish. NINJINSKY'S SON is fit and could enjoy the return to the turf. BOLD STRIKE and ALL IN LINE usually run well but both are battling to win. They can be included in larger permutations.

Selections:
#2 Zig Zag, #1 Mio Grande, #5 Homer Fidget, #6 Fresh From The Us

Race 7
Race Summary: WORLD RADAR looked beaten 200m out last time but showed she has the fight in her of a good horse. This is tougher but she has beaten horses of this class before and she will be the one to beat. Stable companion CARIOCA drew away very nicely last time out and is clearly a much-improved sort. LA BELLA MIA is unreliable but when in the mood she can be dangerous. Her stable companion JOYFUL NOISE was not disgraced last time out and must be considered.

Selections:
#1 World Radar, #2 Carioca, #11 Trickster, #4 Spring Break

Race 8
Race Summary: The usual dish served up at Fairview and another tough race to find the winner. PARIS OPERA should prefer the drop in distance and can go closer than her last run. Stable companion from the Alan Greeff yard, ROOIBOS is seeking a hat-trick after two good wins and is clearly on the up. This is a much tougher task, though. SILENT OBSERVER won nicely recently and could be better than her older rivals. AFTERNOON TEA is a tricky customer and could be a danger dropping in distance for her new trainer.

Selections:
#9 Vihzoe's Magic, #3 Rooibos, #6 Afternoon Tea, #2 Paris Opera

Best Win: #1 WORLD RADAR
Best Value Bet:
Best Longshot: #2 ZIG ZAG

TURFFONTEIN

Race 1
Race Summary: Two runners impressed on debut and both were ridden by Warren Kennedy - MUFASA and GREEN TAFFETY. He is now aboard the former for regular stable Paul Peter whereas the latter has Gavin Lerena in the saddle. GREEN TAFFETY is coupled with facile winner CARTELL BOSS who won on the 2nd time of asking and looks above average. Newcomer MAGIC DANCER could get into the money.

Selections:
#2 Mufasa, #4 Green Taffety, #1 Cartel Boss, #3 Arctic Skyline

Race 2
Race Summary: Paul Peter holds a strong hand with FREED FROM DESIRE and BATHING BEAUTY. The former has met stronger company but the latter won effortlessly on debut and has more scope for improvement. BON VIVANT and BOLD ACT both won on the 2nd time of asking and could get into the Trifecta. The is latter is coupled with debutante WISTERIA AVENUE - watch. KWAZZI'S LADY and COCOA HILL could sneak into the Quartet.

Selections:
#5 Freed From Desire, #1 Bathing Beauty, #3 Bon Vivant, #2 Bold Act

Race 3
Race Summary: MITCH GOT HIS WISH wasn't disgraced in his first run as a gelding and should be in the shake-up. TOP WESSELTON showed improvement in his 2nd start over the extended sprint distance and should be thereabouts. PLATINUM SKY eased in the betting on debut and will enjoy the extra here. GANDALF THE BAY hasn't been far back in all 4 starts and should continue honest form. CONFESSOR has had his chances but with BOLD DECISION could place.

Selections:
#5 Mitch Got His Wish, #8 Top Wesselton, #7 Platinum Sky, #3 Gandalf The Bay

Race 4
Race Summary: The two-year-olds could fight this out. ABALUS showed inexperience last time but should know a lot more about it whereas BUREAU DES LEGENDE is improving with racing and will make a bold showing. FORT SNOW has had his chances but could make the frame. LIL WAHOO, ZULU WAR CRY and newcomer VERTIGO AGAIN could get into the frame.

Selections:
#6 Bureau Des Legende, #5 Abalus, #1 Fort Snow, #3 Lil Wahoo

Race 5
Race Summary: INDLAMU has had 7 runs for 3 wins and 4 places. Those stats are sure to improve. Stable companion ROCK THE GLOBE is honest and could challenge. Other inmate PUTONTHEREDLIGHT is no slouch and cannot be ignored. DARK TIDE is holding form and should be thereabouts again. ASTRIX will appreciate the 2.5kg apprentice claim and must be considered.

Selections:
#4 Indlamu, #5 Rock The Globe, #6 Dark Tide, #1 Astrix

Race 6
Race Summary: Hard to assess. NARTJIE never raised a gallop last time but if that run is ignored should hold GEE FOR GO on his previous form. KINGSLEY'S HEART needed his first run as a gelding and will come on. SOUND OF SUMMER is only maturing now but will be tested in this field. ECSTATIC GREEN has a chance if relaxed in the early stages.

Selections:
#6 Nartjie, #5 Gee For Go, #2 Kingsley's Heart, #4 Sound Of Summer

Race 7
Race Summary: All 8 runners warrant inclusion in exotic bets. TREND MASTER comes from franked form and despite the little extra could go in again. IRISH WONDER GIRL is having her 3rd run after a rest and could give Warren his 5th win aboard her. Top weight TYRUS EXPRESS gives USHUAIA 8kg which could be costly. OYSTER KING is a lot better than his last run.

Selections:
#5 Trend Master, #3 Irish Wonder Girl, #8 Ushuaia, #1 Tyrus Express

Race 8
Race Summary: CHLORIS was not striding out when beaten 1.50 lengths by LEE EXPRESS, however, she is 1.5kg better off, is having her peak run and could turn it around. SPICE MARKET is claiming 4kg and the apprentice is looking to do it again. FREEDOM SEEKER wasn't disgraced over the longer trip last time and could get into the money. ALL OF ME is capable so needs to put it in.

Selections:
#8 Chloris, #9 Lee Express, #2 Spice Market, #4 Freedom Seeker

Race 9
Race Summary: Open final event. NOW YOU SEE ME is holding form and should make her presence felt. GALAXY RAIDERS appears stable elect over BELLA ROSA on riding engagements, however, both need to be considered for honours. AFLAME has a chance if starts on terms. MAMAQUERA appears held on her penultimate. BEYOND THE RUNWAY won on debut but has a big weight, however, she should relish the extra.

Selections:
#4 Now You See Me, #2 Galaxy Raiders, #3 Bella Rosa, #5 Aflame

Best Win: #2 MUFASA
Best Value Bet: #5 TREND MASTER
Best Longshot: #5 TREND MASTER

KENILWORTH

Race 1
Race Summary: Competitive opener to a cracking card. Stablemates DANILO DANILOVITCH and INTREPID boast the strongest form on offer and should play leading roles. Debut winners FINAL MOVE and ON THE ROAD AGAIN are open to any amount of improvement and, as such, could pose a threat. ROD THE MOD, who won over track and trip when last seen (the form of that race has worked out well), could make his presence felt too.

Selections:
#1 Danilo Danilovitch, #3 Intrepid, #5 Rod The Mod, #4 On The Road Again

Race 2
Race Summary: A typically competitive Langerman renewal. POMP AND POWER has relished going around the turn and, having won over this trip last time, should complete the hat-trick. BACK TO YOU and WAITING FOR SUMMER finished behind that rival last time and face an uphill task reversing that form on these terms. BARZALONA and NIGHT RULER could improve stepped up in trip, so are others to be consider.

Selections:
#1 Pomp And Power, #4 Waiting For Summer, #3 Barzalona, #2 Back To You

Race 3
Race Summary: Super renewal with some promising fillies in the line-up. MARIA QUEROL, like Pomp And Power earlier, is unbeaten racing around the turn. She won over this trip last time but must now concede 2kg to runner-up BYE BYE BOMBSHELL, which should give the latter the edge. SANTA MARIA had previously got the better of that rival too but is also 2kg worse off. Stablemate AMANZIMTOTI confirmed the promise of her debut 2nd when beating older horses last time. She is likely to improve stepped up in trip, so must be included. QUICK BREEZE wasn't disgraced in an Eastern Cape feature and could also play a role.

Selections:
#3 Amanzimtoti, #4 Bye Bye Bombshell, #1 Maria Querol, #2 Santa Maria

Race 4
Race Summary: Good race. SING OUT LOUD and SLEEPING SINGLE are well treated by the conditions and likely to strip fitter after last-start comeback runs, so should be competitive. However, 3yo stablemates RAIN IN NEWMARKET and LA QUINTA could prove better than rated. The former was touched off over this trip in Leg 1 of the Winter Series for fillies and could represent the value to go one better in her peak outing. LA QUINTA is closely matched on that form so should be involved too. PRETTY BETTY is on the up and could be hard to peg back under a light weight if allowed her own way in front.

Selections:
#3 Rain In Newmarket, #4 La Quinta, #2 Sleeping Single, #1 Sing Out Loud

Race 5
Race Summary: Wide open. ICON PRINCESS arrives in good form over further against the boys. She is effective over this trip but must concede weight all round. Last-start winners PHIL'S DANCER and CASINO QUEEN are likely to be competitive again. Stablemates QUEEN OF QUIET and VERONICA MARS, as well as SOCIAL BUTTERFLY, are consistent sorts who should be in the mix once more. CAPITANA will strip fitter after a pleasing comeback 2nd over course and distance, so must be included. MARMALISA and IRIS arrive in winning form too, so warrant respect. Good race!

Selections:
#3 Capitana, #2 Phil's Dancer, #10 Casino Queen, #4 Queen Of Quiet

Race 6
Race Summary: MARINA ran away with the 2nd Leg of the Winter Series for fillies over 1800m and, on that evidence, should prove too good again over this extended trip which should suit. PINK TOURMALINE has a bit to find on that form but could get closer over this distance. SWAZI QUEEN gets the trip and, as such, should have a role to play. FRENCH DECLARATION, MUSICAL GLITCH and KATIE TO are likely to fight out the minors.

Selections:
#1 Marina, #3 Pink Tourmaline, #2 Swazi Queen, #5 French Declaration

Race 7
Race Summary: HOEDSPRUIT collared long-time leader CRIMSON KING (1kg better off) late to land Leg 2 of the Winter Series over 1800m. Both could improve over the extra 600m so there shouldn't be much between the pair. SOMERSET MAUGHAM caught the eye in that race with a strong late run so, on that evidence, may have more to offer going this distance. LETS BOOGIE BABY stays well and arrives in good form, while ONE WAY TRAFFIC is progressive and likely to improve further stepped up to this trip. Eastern Cape raider JAEGER MOON is best treated by the conditions and will be hard to peg back if allowed to dictate terms.

Selections:
#2 Jaeger Moon, #1 Hoedspruit, #3 Crimson King, #4 Somerset Maugham

Race 8
Race Summary: GLACIER GOLD stayed on well in a stronger race over 1000m last time, suggesting this step up in trip and drop back in grade will suit - leading contender. Both GILLIAN ANNE and WINDSOR BEAT arrive in winning form and will pose a threat if reproducing recent efforts. GERTRUDE BELL and BOLDLY GO are better than their recent displays suggest and could make their presence felt if bouncing back to earlier form. FUSILLADE is improving and could have say too, while L'AMI JEAN remains unexposed and open to improvement over the extra - respect. SONIC BURST, SNOW DRAGON and NOOSA PRINCESS have claims too.

Selections:
#2 Glacier Gold, #5 Windsor Beat, #4 Gillian Anne, #6 Fusillade

Best Win: #1 MARINA
Best Value Bet: #3 CAPITANA
Best Longshot: #3 CAPITANA

GREYVILLE

Race 1
Race Summary: MISS MAGICIAN won her last start impressively after two good 'learning' experiences in a row. She could be even better on the poly and rates the one to beat. Stablemate VOLTRON put aside some ordinary form with an easy win as well and has the best of the draws. But AUNT LIZZY could be her biggest threat. She had things go wrong but nevertheless won her debut, beating her elders. FRANCA is fast and should make the pace hot. She should be in the money as well. STREET DANCING, the only debutante, is bred to be quick.

Selections:
#7 Miss Magician, #3 Aunty Lizzy, #6 Franca, #1 Voltron

Race 2
Race Summary: ELMO could be too strong after running in the Grade 1 Gold Medallion. He didn't have things his own way there but he has drawn wide on poly debut and has his work cut out again. NOT YOUR CALL has secured a plum draw on local debut. His saddle slipped on debut and jumped slow last time and could finally have things go right this time. LADY TIPTREE showed good pace throughout to win her maiden last time but that race didn't look strong and she is meeting better today. Still she must have a say. SIKHULU made a fair debut and should not go backwards from draw No 1. KUUMA is honest and should earn.

Selections:
#8 Elmo, #2 Not Your Call, #5 Lady Tiptree, #1 Sikhulu

Race 3
Race Summary: WINTER SMOKE has had some tough assignments of late and has not disgraced herself. She is weighted to run a cracker here - she won a nice race on the poly as a youngster and could relish being back on the synthetic. But LINEAR is a formidable sort on the poly and could turn around a beating by WINTER SMOKE at these weights. She has drawn a bit better. VARINA is an interesting entry. She has some fair 1000m wins in the bank which could convert well on the poly. GEORGINA ROSE and DUBAWI PRINCESS must be respected as well.

Selections:
#9 Winter Smoke, #5 Linear, #6 Varina, #7 Georgina Rose

Race 4
Race Summary: ROYAL WULFF is unbeaten in his last four since gelding. He doesn't want to get beaten it seems and he could make a successful Polytrack debut even if not as well weighted as others. SPIRITOFTHEGROOVE is best weighted and is very capable on her day but she hasn't been at her best of late. She could just pop up with her light weight over this trip. HARD TO PLAY won this in 2019 and is not one to take lightly at Greyville. He has an ideal draw. ISHNANA raced with the best in the big Grade 1 last time and could show the strength of that form. 2020 winner AD ALTISIMA has drawn widest - respect him.

Selections:
#6 Royal Wulff, #2 Hard To Play, #7 Ishnana, #10 Ad Altisima

Race 5
Race Summary: ADMIRE ME made a fair debut for her new yard. She is talented, unbeaten at Greyville and is now back and ready to continue from where she left off. But there a Highveld raider with strong form who could give her a hard time. RUN APRIL RUN was not disgraced against high-class males and is bred for the longer distance. She could be a revelation on the poly. FIRE FAERIE produced some superb performances on the poly before a rest. She could be on the up still but may just need it. WISHFUL GIRL LYNN is back on the poly and needs to be taken seriously. TUPELO HONEY has been unlucky.

Selections:
#3 Admire Me, #6 Run April Run, #5 Fire Faerie, #2 Wishful Girl Linn

Race 6
Race Summary: CALIENTE has won this race two years running and he has the recent form to suggest he could win it again. However, he is racing after a rest and drawn wide again so has his work cut out. GAIAN GLORY is weighted to win it and if she takes to the poly she could show she can last a full 1600m. She has the best of the draw and should make it count. CAPTAIN WHO is the dark horse. He ran a promising race in his first try on the poly where he did suffer a saddle slip. PRINCE OF TARANTO is an unknown quantity on the poly. He has shown decent work on the turf and needs to be respected.

Selections:
#9 Caliente, #1 Gaian Glory, #10 Captain Who, #4 Indy Go

Race 7
Race Summary: COPPER MOUNTAIN's eye-catching second-place finish to Vodacom Durban July favourite Got The Greenlight stands out and his earlier form to Malmoos is also top class, rates the one to beat. WILLOW EXPRESS has shown good promise since gelding and ran with merit as a youngster at this venue. He could relish being back at Greyville. CHIJMES didn't do well in this race last year but is weighted to be right there and deserves another chance. MAGICAL FLIGHT's second in the S A Classic was top class and if she runs to that kind of form she could prove to be a big threat.

Selections:
#7 Copper Mountain, #3 Willow Express, #6 Chijmes, #4 Magical Flight

Race 8, Gallops, 1900m, Poly, R120.000, 16:20GMT+2

Race Summary: IRISH WONDER GIRL is back home and has done well on the poly in the past. She hit form in the Highveld having won recently but is carded to run on the 26th. Another Highveld raider HAVE A GO JO has run well in some good races and if takes to the synthetic surface could run a big race. He has drawn well. TRULY WICKED has won all four of his races on the poly and ran well in a decent division last time out. He could show them how it is done. Many with the potential to fight it out including TECHNO SAVVY, HEY BILL, A WHOLE NEW WORLD and TIGER TANK.

Selections:
#9 Irish Wonder Girl, #3 Have A Go Jo, #10 Truly Wicked, #4 Hey Bill

Best Win: #7 COPPER MOUNTAIN
Best Value Bet: #9 IRISH WONDER GIRL
Best Longshot: #9 IRISH WONDER GIRL

Monday, 28 June

GREYVILLE

Race 1
Race Summary: SERENA SLAM has some fair form over this course and distance. One of these days she can keep rolling and score a victory. VARISTOCRACY showed good promise on his debut. If showing that form on the Polytrack he will be hard to hold out. LORD AND MASTER has been a disappointment of late but can contest the finish. DAWN RAIDER seems better than the last run and could finish in the money in this line-up

Selections:
#2 Varistocracy, #5 Royal Virtue, #1 Serena Slam, #3 My Lord And Master

Race 2
Race Summary: A weak race that will not take much winning. PRINCESS SABRINA is often slowly away and that can be a costly mistake over this course and distance. She must be considered on her good last run though. HIGH BORN returns to the Polytrack and could earn some money. INTOMBI shows pace and could place. QUENANZA has not been beaten too far in her recent starts and could run well. Watch the betting on newcomer HEAVEN SENT as Soft Falling Rain horses tend to love the Polytrack.

Selections:
#9 Heaven Sent, #2 Princess Sabrina, #1 Denisa, #3 High Born

Race 3
Race Summary: A competitive looking race. DIEDI is in good form and should be right there at the finish once again. DOUBLE EDGE may have just needed the debut but still ran a decent race. If smarter this time he is clearly the one they have to beat trying the Polytrack. GUY FOX showed improvement last time when third, and must be considered. ANCIENT STATE is unreliable but does have a winning chance.

Selections:
#3 Double Edge, #2 Diedi, #5 Guy Fox, #7 Lucretius

Race 4
Race Summary: PAPILLION is clearly limited but in a weak field she does look the one they all have to beat. EMBARRAS DE RICHES ran well on this surface in her penultimate start so perhaps her last run should be ignored. MAXINE DU MONDE and HIROSHIMA are both well tried and although battling, have done enough to suggest they can be competitive in this race.

Selections:
#1 Papillion, #11 Maxine Du Monde, #12 Hiroshima, #3 Embarras De Riches

Race 5
Race Summary: An open-looking race and one needs to go as wide as possible in the Pick 6 and other exotics. TANGO TIME is better drawn this time and an improved run is on the cards. HOT MONEY received a penalty for her recent win but does have a winning chance. MISS MISSOURI took her time to win a maiden but she is course-and-distance suited and must be considered. ROYAL KITTY has a wide draw for her apprentice jockey to overcome but is in good heart and can go close to winning.

Selections:
#11 Royal Kitty, #10 Someone Exciting, #12 Birdwatcher, #5 Flower Season

Race 6
Race Summary: An interesting race. As things stand now FLYING PETER is a reserve runner. If he gets in he could be the right one. If not, it becomes another tough race. BEDAZZLED JOKER has lost his way of late but does like this course and distance. LIVING WATERS did not like the soft track last time. He has run better races on this surface. The same can be repeated for BRASS BELL and his last run must be ignored.

Selections:
#8 Living Waters, #13 Flying Peter, #11 Brass Bell, #3 Ramchandani Road

Race 7
Race Summary: Yet another very open low-grade handicap. KING JULIAN returns from a short break and could improve on some modest last few runs. MONTANA SKY has been consistent of late and is likely to be right there at the finish once again. STRAIGHT SIX was full of running when scoring last time out but may be just in need of this comeback run. TWO OF US is in good form and must be included in all perms.

Selections:
#9 Greenlightflash, #11 Two Of Us, #4 Montana Sky, #5 Gold Season

Race 8
Race Summary: It is worth repeating. Another low-grade handicap and one needs a large spread of runners to survive this leg of the exotics. SOFIA ERIN returns from a break but could run well. SILVER DAZZLE has a winning chance returning from a break. FOXY LADY is course-and-distance suited. GINGER BISCUIT, GLITTER AND GOLD, ARCTIC PRINCESS and LOVING THE VICTORY are all outsiders who may be worth looking at.

Selections:
#4 Silver Dazzle, #5 Foxy Lady, #7 Star Choice, #8 Kileigh's Fate

Race 9
Race Summary: JUSTAGUYTHING and LESLIES PATHTOFAME are both in good form and it would not be much of a surprise if they fight out the finish once again. ROCKET FIRE does not always show his best form but if he does can go close. DURAN is in good form and loves this surface. GIMME A RAINBOW has some fair recent form and has a place chance. WINTER WAVES is another who might also pop up in the places.

Selections:
#1 Fly The Coup, #8 Rocket Fire, #3 Justaguything, #6 Leslies Pathtofame

Best Win: #2 VARISTOCRACY
Best Value Bet:
Best Longshot: #1 FLY THE COUP
