#2 Viking Moon, #3 La Bella Mia, #1 Purple Diamond, #4 Verbarium

Race 6, Gallops, 1200m, Poly, R40.000, 15:00GMT+2

ELUSIVE DIVA could try and make all the running and must be considered. FORTY DAYS won well last time out and can follow up. BALTIC BEAT and OFF PAT are recent maiden winners who deserve respect. TURFFONTEIN

Race 1, Gallops, 1450m, Turf, R70.000, 11:55GMT+2

Race Summary: Tricky opener. CASTLE CORNER, PURPLE PANTHER and SUPREME ELEVATION have good form, but the last mentioned could battle from a wide draw. Many are looking to attract money. COURTROOM MAGIC did well on debut but is coupled with newcomer NARTJIE. EURO CENT finished on top of them on debut but ran a flat 2nd run - he is coupled with first-timer NAMIB DESERT. Watch the betting.

Selections:
#5 Purple Panther, #4 Castle Corner, #12 Namib Desert, #6 Supreme Elevation

Race 2, Gallops, 1800m, Turf, R70.000, 12:30GMT+2

Race Summary: MYNAGE looks to have best recent form but appears to have breathing problems and cannot be backed with confidence. DICE THE BULLET is bred to travel the extra but needs to go on with it. SUPER DUPER is a trier and deserves her maiden win. She should confirm with PEARL DANCER who needs to make up 3 lengths. PURPLE SHADOW and SECRET STRIKE could make the frame.

Selections:
#1 Dice The Bullet, #3 Super Duper, #5 Mynage, #2 Pearl Dancer

Race 3, Gallops, 1800m, Turf, R70.000, 13:05GMT+2

Race Summary: SEA WAYS disappointed when a hot favourite last time but tries further now and could get on track. MASTER MARINER could get into the reckoning on current form. BELIEVEINTHEFUTURE jumps up in distance and must be respected. GRAZINGINTHEGRASS is maturing now and could make his presence felt. ROCKPAPERSCISSORS was backed on debut but found problems and has drawn wide out.

Selections:
#8 Sea Ways, #9 Master Mariner, #10 Believeinthefuture, #11 Grazinginthegrass

Race 4, Gallops, 2000m, Turf, R77.500, 13:45GMT+2

Race Summary: NAFOORAH is on the up and could make it 3 wins from 4 starts. MAGIC VISION is holding form and could get into the money again. MAJOR RETURN showed improvement in blinkers. OUR COYS has a chance in his new surroundings but needs to jump on terms. SKIMINAC needed his last run and could get into the picture. OUR MAN IN HAVANA and FLASH BURN could improve on recent form.

Selections:
#3 Nafoorah, #8 Magic Vision, #1 Skiminac, #5 Our Coys

Race 5, Gallops, 1450m, Turf, R70.000, 14:20GMT+2

Race Summary: Open. SHORTSOP could record his 7th victory in a moderate line up if he doesn't give away too much start. HOT GOSSIP, SECOND BASE and STRIKEITLIKEAMATCH have wide draws to contend with but are not without chances. Stable companions ICE MAN COMETH, DUKE OF SWING and THANDEKHILE are capable of pulling it off. Recent maiden winner BANGOR NIGHT could follow up.

Selections:
#7 Shortstop, #3 Hot Gossip, #2 Second Base, #1 Ice Man Cometh

Race 6, Gallops, 1450m, Turf, R70.000, 14:55GMT+2

Race Summary: Another difficult race. PEACEONTHEROCKS is threatening for her 2nd win and could achieve it from a good barrier position. MALTEZA comes off a rest and could get into the picture. LAETITIA'S ANGEL should enjoy the extra and could go in again. COMET CRYSTAL, SOUL OF WIT and GET SET are more for the short list.

Selections:
#5 Peaceontherocks, #4 Malteza, #3 Laetitia's Angel, #8 Comet Crystal

Race 7, Gallops, 1000m, Turf, R70.000, 15:35GMT+2

Race Summary: GARDEN PARTY is a moody sort but if ridden with hands and heels could outpace the field again. CAPTAIN MORISCO was not striding out last time and could prove a live danger. STARFLASH is ready to spring his surprise again. PRECIOUS STONE cannot be ignored for money. PILLAROFTHEEARTH has a chance on hisJuly run.

Selections:
#2 Garden Party, #4 Captain Morisco, #9 Starflash, #8 Precious Stone

Race 8, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R77.500, 16:10GMT+2

Race Summary: VASEEM is well handicapped. He meets ROCK THE GLOBE (comes off a rest) and AGAINST THE GRAIN (first run as a gelding after a long break) who may not beready for this yet. WHAT YOU ARE has Piere Strydom from pole position whichcould see her challenge. FIRE AND ICE races as a gelding after a break and may not be fully wound up. THUMBS UP had to share his maiden win but will come on.

Selections:
#1 Vaseem, #5 What You Are, #2 Rock The Globe, #6 Against The Grain

Race 9, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R70.000, 16:45GMT+2

Race Summary: BEQUEST was backed on debut and didn't raise a sweat to win. She meets 4-time winner GOLDEN SPIRAL (receives 0,5kg) who is in form but has drawn poorly. Reserve runner FROMHERETOETERNITY comes off feature races in Greyville so if gets a run could feature. Others are looking for minor money.

Selections:
#1 Bequest, #2 Golden Spiral, #5 Initiator, #11 In Full Bloom

Best Win: #3 NAFOORAH
Best Value Bet: #5 PEACEONTHEROCKS
Best Longshot: #5 PEACEONTHEROCKS

KENILWORTH

Race 1, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R46.000, 12:50GMT+2

Race Summary: Competitive start to a cracking card. SILVER SABRE was all at sea in the early stages of her belated debut over this course and distance but once the penny had dropped, caught the eye with a smart finish, displaying a good turnof foot. She wasn't beaten far and, with natural improvement, can contest the outcome. QUEEN NIYABAH has filled the runner-up berth in both starts so wouldn't be winning out of turn - will make her presence felt. Well-bred WILD CREATURE finished 2nd behind a subsequent winner over course and distance last time out - can fight it out too. Others looking for minor money.

Selections:
#3 Silver Sabre, #10 Wild Creature, #9 Queen Niyabah, #4 In Your Time

Race 2, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R46.000, 13:25GMT+2

Race Summary: Tricky. DOLLAR BRAND has decent form behind several useful sorts - needs todo more to win. Place chance. MACH FOUR was a close-up 2nd over track and trip when fitted with cheekpieces last start. Can fight it out again with headgear retained. BENJAMIN has a deep draw to negotiate but also the form to becompetitive - include. NEGREANU drew widest but is open to improvement after gelding, warrants consideration. Frankel colt DIVERGENT is another to keep an eye on after a modest intro. LEGITIMATE showed promise in KZN, gelded now, warrants respect. TRAVEL MASTER is worth another chance, include.

Selections:
#2 Mach Four, #11 Legitimate, #12 Travel Master, #1 Dollar Brand

Race 3, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R46.000, 14:00GMT+2

Race Summary: GAINSFORD trounced his maiden rivals by more than 7 lengths over this trip when wearing blinkers for the first time - more needed against this opposition under 60,5kg but has most scope for improvement + headgear is retained.Hard-knocking handicapper PINK FLOYD and hat-trick-seeking MOON ROCK, who runs well for hot apprentice Josh Solomons, are likely to keep that rival honest. Will pose a threat. ALASKAN NIGHT is distance suited + registered his only win at this track = another to consider after a pleasing comeback run. TIMES NEW ROMAN, RED EIGHT and DESTRUCTION BOY have earning potential.

Selections:
#1 Gainsford, #4 Alaskan Night, #3 Moon Rock, #2 Pink Floyd

Race 4, Gallops, 1100m, Turf, R46.000, 14:35GMT+2

Race Summary: RUN FOX RUN lost her unbeaten record to re-opposing Equus Champ RUSSET AIR in a course-and-distance Grade 1 on Met day, when the former got going late to be beaten just over a length. The pair renew rivalry on similar terms butthe latter may struggle to confirm his superiority over the less-exposed filly. Smart SILVER OPERATOR is likely to need the outing after a layoff but retains ability - could go well fresh. Capable ELUSIVE TRADER and speedy ICON PRINCESS could get a look in under their apprentice riders. BILLY SILVER has earning potential too.

Selections:
#3 Run Fox Run, #1 Russet Air, #4 Silver Operator, #2 Fabian

Race 5, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R46.000, 15:10GMT+2

Race Summary: Well-bred THE GATEKEEPER made the expected improvement when stepped up in trip last time, easily accounting for his maiden rivals over 1400m - there's more to come from him over the extra 200m, so it could pay to follow his progress. Fellow 3yo NOIR'S BOY should pose a threat in receipt of 3kg from that rival. Both DOUBLE BLUE and CONTACT ZONE made all to shed their maiden tags when last seen and could be hard to peg back under handy galloping weights - respect. They should ensure an honest tempo which should suit REX UNION, who also has claims. BROTHER LOUIS can't be discounted either.

Selections:
#1 The Gatekeeper, #5 Noir's Boy, #3 Brother Louis, #4 Rex Union

Race 6, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R125.000, 15:50GMT+2

Race Summary: Smashing renewal of this Grade 3 feature, with a number of these hoping to secure their spots and/or throw their name into the hat for Cape Guineas contention. However, it's difficult to look beyond INVINCABELLE who impressed as a 2yo, beating several smart sorts. Among them, subsequent Langerman winner JET DARK, runner-up LINEBACKER and 3rd-placed HYDE PARK who made a winning3yo bow. Hat-trick-seeking colts RASCALLION and SPEED MACHINE warrant respect - can make their presence felt. MASTER OF POWER and MY BESTIE are others to consider with improvement likely over this trip. Must see!

Selections:
#4 Invincabelle, #1 Jet Dark, #5 Hyde Park, #2 Rascallion

Race 7, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R150.000, 16:25GMT+2

Race Summary: A typically high-class renewal, featuring a number of well-performed fillies and several others with untapped ability - all with progressive profile, though. Both PRINCESS CALLA and TRICKSTER fall into the first category, having run well in a 2yo Gr.1 when last seen. LEMON DELIGHT and FIFTYSHADESDARKERfit a similar profile but both had their colours lowered by ZARINA, who ought to improve for that run and be better suited by this step up in trip. VERONICA MARS and DAZZLING SUN can get a look in if overcoming wide draws. MARMALISA and TWO PENNIES are unknown quantities - warrant inclusion.

Selections:
#1 Princess Calla, #2 Trickster, #4 Zarina, #5 Lemon Delight

Race 8, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R46.000, 16:55GMT+2

Race Summary: PINKERTON is unbeaten this term, winning twice at this level over 1250m from as many starts. He finished well under a 4-point penalty last time and a further 2-point rise is unlikely to prevent him from completing a hat-trick. The step up to 1400m in his peak outing (3rd after rest/gelding) should alsobe to his liking. Hard-knockers MERAKI, who should be suited by conditions, and capable PHOTOCOPY (held by the selection) could get into the picture, though a bigger threat may come from likely improver LIBERTY HALL after a pleasing Cape comeback. CAPTAIN FLINDERS isn't without a chance either

Selections:
#6 Pinkerton, #5 Captain Flinders, #3 Liberty Hall, #1 Meraki

Race 9, Gallops, 1800m, Turf, R46.000, 17:30GMT+2

Race Summary: Few of these inspire any confidence on exposed form, so include as many as the budget allows in what is a wide-open contest. WYLIE'S TRACTOR and CASANOVA KING caught the eye by running on well over shorter when last seen, suggesting there's more to come over this trip. ALFRED'S LEGACY seldom finishes far off the action and, despite a wide draw, could get into picture again. THEMADIRISHSHERIFF could get away if allowed to dictate, so warrants respect. SAVANNAH BUDDY and FLY OVER could play roles in the outcome if confirming improvement. CAPTAINS WORLD and ONE WAY TRAFFIC are others to consider.

Selections:
#9 Casanova King, #6 Wylie's Tractor, #4 Savannah Buddy, #8 Captains World

Best Win: #6 PINKERTON
Best Value Bet:
Best Longshot: #1 PRINCESS CALLA

GREYVILLE

Race 1, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R70.000, 12:40GMT+2

Race Summary: Many first-timers in the first and the betting market must be closely watched. If UMZINDUZI had a better barrier she would have been one of the better bets on the card. Her second start was very good on a testing track where one from behind her has come out to win. But she gave her rider a tough time. Big danger VIHZOE'S MAGIC has drawn better but her gate is still tricky and she needs to get going sooner over the shorter trip. AN OLD SWEET SONG had excuses when well behind UMZINDUZI and could show a bit more today.

Selections:
#12 Umzinduzi, #7 Vihzoe's Magic, #11 An Old Sweet Song, #14 Red Hot Chili Girl

Race 2, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R70.000, 13:15GMT+2

Race Summary: Nothing really stands out and sudden improvement could be coming from the inexperienced horses. UPLIFTED has only run one no-show race and that was on debut where he looked to have needed it. Decent effort in his last start before gelding and his penultimate run is a strong form line. He could live up to his name now. LONG DAY'S JOURNEY was not as eye-catching as his champion brother, Chimichurri Run, but that was his debut run and he did make good progress. Has a tough draw to overcome. ALMA MATER could take advantage over younger rivals with his pace.

Selections:
#6 Uplifted, #13 Long Day's Journey, #2 Alma Mater, #9 Flying Vision

Race 3, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R70.000, 13:50GMT+2

Race Summary: First of the apprentice races. Form choice JAYS DANCER has been denied in close calls over this distance on poly and turf. He needs a little luck to get his head in front at the line. Watch out for improvement from TRUMPS EXPRESS who has shown potential on the Highveld. He has been gelded and has champion apprentice Luke Ferraris in the irons. BERNIE'S DREAM made a promising debut three months back but that was on the straight track at Scottsville. He will have improved - watch the betting. GREEN PHANTOM was not far behind last time - upset type.

Selections:
#5 Jays Dancer, #11 Trumps Express, #7 Bernie's Dream, #4 Green Phantom

Race 4, Gallops, 2000m, Turf, R70.000, 14:25GMT+2

Race Summary: At first glance it looks a 'match' between CHEWBACA and GONTRAVELIN but both seem to have chinks in their armour so DO RE ME, who did well off bad draws, needs to be included. CHEWBACA was one paced on the poly last time but ran his best race on this turf track. For a change he has a very good draw. Hecould make all the right moves but youngster GONTRAVELIN has shown in all starts that he can run and just needs to get his mind on the job. He was close up from a wide draw last time and could get even closer this time.

Selections:
#2 Chewbaca, #11 Gontravelin, #8 Do Re Mi, #5 Awesome Xoxo

Race 5, Gallops, 2000m, Turf, R70.000, 15:00GMT+2

Race Summary: Wide open handicap and it may be best to go for a value type. MIGHTY SMART races for a stable that has come to hand recently and he has been knocking at the door. Needs to overcome a wide draw though. DREAM DESTINY has produced powerful finishes in his last two and should hold FINAL OCCASION and PROUD WARRIOR if overcoming another shocking draw. The last mentioned has drawn worse and FINAL OCCASION could take full advantage if allowed to. CARBON FIBRE and ROOM AT THE TOP add substance - go wide.

Selections:
#10 Mighty Smart, #15 Dream Destiny, #3 Final Occasion, #16 Proud Warrior

Race 6, Gallops, 2400m, Turf, R70.000, 15:35GMT+2

Race Summary: MATTERHORN is on the up and should pull of a hat-trick of wins the way he is going. He is bred to appreciate the step up in trip. ANSE LAZIO has had noluck in the Western Cape, having run a string of decent races without winning. He may enjoy the change of scenery and a right-handed track. He looks to be well weighted at first glance. WEALTHY doesn't know how to run a bad race but he does need a good pace. JUST CRUISED IN showed after rest last time but interestingly has yet to win on this track.

Selections:
#3 Matterhorn, #1 Anse Lazio, #7 Wealthy, #2 Flichity By Farr

Race 7, Gallops, 1800m, Turf, R70.000, 16:10GMT+2

Race Summary: AFRICAN SUNRISE has been beaten in his last three by SPECIAL BLEND but had excuses for all of them. Deserves another go, especially over this longer trip. SPECIAL BLEND also found that race short and was a cracking second over this trip a run earlier. Interestingly, neither has won at this course. Another strong runner looks to be BAYVIEW EXPRESS. He impressed in two wins on poly and turf before everything went wrong over 2400 metres. Ignore that run. BACKPACKER can get away and IN AURO can improve at his best track.

Selections:
#4 African Sunrise, #5 Special Blend, #6 Bayview Express, #1 In Auro

Race 8, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R70.000, 16:45GMT+2

Race Summary: Lots of speedy fillies but RETAIL THERAPY and SILVER DAZZLE could fight itout again. It got close last time but RETAIL THERAPY had more go wrong so could prevail again. However, SILVER DAZZLE is better off at the weights andher confidence looks to be building. SANSKRIFT has her second run for her new yard and drops in distance. It could be the way to go with her - she hasa powerful finish. FLORENCE was beaten a neck after a slow start upcountry - respect. Youngster SOFIA ERIN is capable of better.

Selections:
#6 Silver Dazzle, #3 Retail Therapy, #7 Sanskrift, #5 Florence

Race 9, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R70.000, 17:20GMT+2

Race Summary: Wide open final event. FIVES WILD has finished runner-up in two of his last three and can get it right for a stable in good form. LESLIE SHADOWLINER is also knocking at the door and should have a big say again - a lack of apprentice claim could take it away from him. ROY'S MAGIC is hard to follow, it has been a long while since he last won but he has shown improvement. CONSTANTINE has run good races in much stronger events but has to overcome a wide draw. Many more with winning chances.

Selections:
#6 Fives Wild, #4 Leslie Shadowliner, #3 Roy's Magic, #12 Constantine

Best Win: #12 UMZINDUZI
Best Value Bet: #6 SILVER DAZZLE
Best Longshot: #6 SILVER DAZZLE
